OVERVIEW

The catalogue is the shop.

A shop layout designed around the catalogue page. Filters, sorting and pagination were drawn first; the product page follows from them rather than the other way round.

Most shop themes start with the product page and treat the catalogue as a list of links to it. That is backwards: the catalogue is where the decision happens and where most sessions end.

Filters keep their state, results update without losing scroll position, and the variation picker shows what is actually in stock rather than offering combinations that cannot be bought.

Our filter drop-off basically vanished.

WHAT YOU GET

The catalogue, taken seriously.

Sticky filter state

Filters survive navigation, back buttons and a reload, and every combination has its own address.

Honest variation picker

Only combinations that are actually purchasable are offered, with stock shown before the click rather than after.

Position-preserving paging

Loading more results never moves what the shopper was already looking at.

Plain pricing

Totals include tax where the region requires it, and a crossed-out price must carry a date it was last charged.

Cart without a page

A drawer that shows the running total and shipping threshold without leaving the catalogue.

FULL FEATURE LIST

Shop machinery that earns its place.

Features drawn from watching people abandon filters, not from a competitor feature matrix.

  • Scroll position preserved on paging
